Muhammad Ramzan Chhipa

The video and lesson plan takes students through the life, challenges, struggles and accomplishments of Ramzan Chhipa. Ramzan Chhipa is the founder of Chhipa Welfare Association, a non-profit in Pakistan. He started his welfare services from a small room, in Karachi’s busy business district. His mission has been to provide comfort and mental solace to the poor. Chhipa manages a fleet of 500 ambulances. 150 of these are stationed at volatile places across the country for faster, more efficient response to the needy. The Chhipa Welfare Trust also feeds almost 30,000 people twice each day through their Kitchen and Dastarkhwan programs. The lesson plan has grammar and comprehension activities to scaffold students’ reading, writing and listening skills.
