The video and lesson plan takes students through the history, significance and relevance of the Pakistan Monument. The Pakistan Monument represents the culture from Pakistan’s four provinces and three territories, rather than the provinces themselves. The blooming flower shape of the monument represents Pakistan’s progress as a rapidly developing country. Arif Masoud was the designer of the monument and honored all construction workers by placing their hand impressions along the long walls on both sides of the Freedom Plaza.

The lesson plan has grammar and comprehension activities to scaffold students’ reading, writing and listening skills. The material is available for download in PDF, MP4 and MP3 formats.
