The video and lesson plan takes students through the life, challenges, struggles and accomplishments of Marina Khan. Marina Khan is a Pakistani television and film actress, director and producer. She made her debut in a PTV drama in honor of Rashid Minhas Shaheed, Pakistan’s national hero from the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Her iconic performances include ‘Tanhaiyan’, ‘Dhoop Kinaray’, ‘Nijaat’ and ‘Tanha’. She left the industry somewhere in mid-2000 and made a comeback in 2012 with ‘Tanhaiyan – Naye Silsilay’. This was a sequel to her 1985 Tanhaiyan role. The lesson plan has grammar and comprehension activities to scaffold students’ reading, writing and listening skills.
