The video and lesson plan takes students through the history, significance and relevance of Chauburji. Chauburji is a famous Mughal era monument in Lahore. Chau means ‘four’ and burji means ‘tower’. The “Sahib-e-Zebinda Begam-e-Dauran” inscription suggests the garden was built in honor of either Mughal Princess Zeb-un-Nisa or Emperor Shah Jahan’s daughter, Jahanara Begum. It was built in 1646.

The lesson plan has grammar and comprehension activities to scaffold students’ reading, writing and listening skills. The material is available for download in PDF, MP4 and MP3 formats.
