This video and lesson plan is all about the humanitarian activist, Ansar Burney. Ansar Burney’s name is synonymous with ‘human rights’ in Pakistan. His Trust, the Ansar Burney Trust, was set up in 1980. He has also established the Prisoners Aid Society and Bureau of Missing and Kidnapped Children and Persons. He is responsible for the release of more than 900,000 wrongfully convicted prisoners from around the world. The lesson plan has grammar and comprehension activities to scaffold students’ reading, writing and listening skills.
