The video and lesson plan takes students through the history, significance and relevance of Frere Hall. Frere Hall is one of the many remaining buildings of the British colonial era that still exist in Karachi. It was designed by Lt. Col St. Clair Wilson. Construction began in 1863 and was opened to the public by Samuel Mansfield, the then Commissioner of Sindh, in 1865. The hall was constructed in honor of Sir Henry, who was known for promoting economic development in Sindh.
