Every now and then, someone writes a song to share with their children or even grandchildren. This is one such song. It was written by a wonderful and loving grandfather (Dada, in Urdu) for his two grandchildren, Hamza and Alina. The song was originally written in the 1960s as “There’s a Hole in the Bucket, Dear Liza” and was a conversation between two siblings, Liza and Henry. This Urdu version, written by Hamza and Alina’s Dada for them to have a conversation about Alina’s cycle that has a punctured tire.
The song was then composed and animated by the ToffeeTV team, with a guest voice from Fauzi Baba!
